MANUEL PROENÇA – TOURISM PERSONALITY AWARD
Manuel Proença, whose career in the hotel industry spans more than 50 years, will be receiving Magazine Imobiliário’s Tourism Personality Award on 24th September. Having dedicated 50 years of his professional and business life to Tourism, Manuel Proença has worked at many distinguished hotels. He is the founder and chairman of the Hoti Hotéis Group.
Graduated from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, he has kept up-to-date with new ideas throughout his life, and took a Specialist Course in Marketing at the “Universidade Católica do Porto” and a Course in “Hotel Management” at Cornell University in the USA. He has lectured as a guest professor at the “Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Porto” and at the “Universidade Católica de Braga”.
The Magazine Imobiliário “Personalities of the Year” awards ceremony was held on at 18h30 on 24th September at Tágide.
