The Hoti Hoteis Group has just been awarded the prestigious Green Key prize for all its hotels in Portugal by the Blue Flag Association for the Environment and Education (ABAAE). This recognition is in line with the hotels’ ongoing commitment to reducing their environmental impact, promoting efficiency and the sustainable use of natural resources.

The Green Key awards are an international certification that promotes sustainable tourism by identifying hotel units and other establishments that implement good environmental and social practices, that value environmental management and promote environmental education for sustainability.

The units that received this award were: Meliá Lisboa Oriente, Meliá Lisboa Aeroporto, Meliá Setúbal, Meliá Castelo Branco, Meliá Madeira Mare, Meliá Ria Hotel & Spa (Aveiro), Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa, Moxy Lisboa Oriente, TRYP Porto Centro, TRYP Porto Expo, TRYP Leiria, TRYP Montijo Parque, TRYP Caparica Mar, Hotel da Música, Star inn Lisboa, Star inn Porto, Star inn Peniche Golden Residence Madeira.
